The people are great here. Kindest, most welcoming people I've met in Tennessee. I'm originally from Texas and they give great advice, have great stories and don't mind listening to me babble. They like to clean like me, too. Right now it is looking like Christmas and they have hot chocolate, coffee, and water in the check-in office. So many twinkling lights it brings you back to childhood.
We were Traveling on business. The Bear Inn Retreat was SO Nice, Clean and Cozy. The Owner Melissa was Super nice, It made you feel like Family and Very Homey. If you ever go to Clifton TN. be sure and and Stay at the Bear Inn Retreat. I Promise you will not be Disappointed. Also Visit the Clifton Marina. You will not meet a Stranger. It was VERY FRIENDLY.. Absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. This was hands down one of the cleanest, most comfortable, and best run hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms were immaculately clean, thoughtfully laid out, and clearly well maintained. You can tell the staff takes real pride in the property. The customer service was exceptional friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Every interaction felt warm and personal, not rushed or scripted. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless and stress free. The atmosphere was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing, making it easy to truly rest and unwind. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room felt fresh and inviting, and all the little details were exactly right. If you’re looking for a place that combines top-tier cleanliness, comfort, and outstanding hospitality, this is it. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and will absolutely be recommending this hotel to friends and family. Truly a five-star experience.
Spent this past weekend there to visit my son. We had the chance to meet the owner, Melissa. She hand delivered a corkscrew to our room at 9 pm. Cabin was super clean and had wonderful little touches in it. Will definitely be back and thankful that we got to meet Melissa and share stories with her. Thank you!
Great place to stay. Clean rooms great, service. Just a great place to lay your head. Especially there cabins. Not to far from the nearest grocery store.
If you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is it! We stayed here over the weekend for a night and we were very impressed. We had the sweetest little cabin! This place is perfect for couples. The owner is very very sweet and so easy to work with. The cabin itself is the perfect size for two people. It was clean and cozy, the mattress was so comfortable too. There was a mini fridge, microwave and plenty of towels stocked in the bathroom. Bring a few groceries if you don’t want to go out. The nearest restaurants/grocery stores/Walmart are a good 20 minute drive. There is a Dollar General and a Family Dollar nearby. All in all this place is pretty rural, but beautiful and so quiet. I give them 5 stars for everything! If we’re ever back in this area, we will definitely stay here again.
The most Amazing people! Naomi went above and beyond to make our special weekend spectacular!!! She’s the best! The room was beautiful! Clean, smelled good. Comfortable beds and pillows. Just an all around beautiful motel. We will be staying here next spring when we go back to TN. She became not only a friend but a sis.. Thank you Naomi for everything you did for us sis
Fantastic fantastic fantastic. I knew these people the owners when they bought the Bear in and it is definitely not the old bear inn. Every room has been redone and so thoughtfully and beautifully. And it's not that the owner has a flair for decorating but these people are great awesome people. Kind considerate there's a special thing going on here at Bear inn so when you come Don't be surprised when something very special something very powerful happens. The atmosphere is filled with love acceptance Joy I can't explain it but you'll see when you get there this is a great place to Stay very beautiful and at night all the lights are beautiful
